Czech goulash

I do want present to you one of many originals recipes for Czech goulash we cook any other time.Yhis one is very yummmi.Enjoy ;-)

Czech goulash

1 kg beef , preferably of plywood 1 tablespoon pepper olive oil ½ kg of onions(1 big) , peeled and coarsely chopped a few tablespoons of vegetable oil or a mixture of lard and oils sweet pepper , salt and pepper to taste 1-2 cups broth to grouting Halved 1 ripe tomato(i do use about 3-4,but original rec.is only 1) 1 tablespoon plain flour 2 tablespoons marjoram Worcestershire sauce for taste Cinnamon or gingerbread spice  First cut meat into large cubes . Sprinkle it with pepper, with olive oil and let marinate refrigerated for at least half an hour , preferably overnight . Cut onion pieces for rough or half a wheel and fry it in a thick saucepan on fat. Add a tablespoon of sweet paprika or 2(so more u add them more dark red colore joice is it) , fry lightly and pour a little with broth. Second Heat a large frying pan and  fry the meat pieces . Soused Cheese - Nakladany syr

8 cheese (depends what u like if fetta or camember kinds) 5-8 bay leaf 2 big onions( cut into strips) 5-8 jalapeno pepper soused 3-4 tblsp. ground red pepper garlic soused red bell  pepper and sliced bell pepper soused (long pepper-kozi rohy) oil  soup spice(Vegeta) 1.Cut surface of the cheese, but not deep!!! 2.Get ready bowl with ground pepper and cheese wrap in it  from both sides 3. Into the bowl with the remaining red pepper add a little bit oil and pressed garlic and wrap in it cheese from both sides again. 4. Into larger bowl add layer sliced ​​onions and put  cheese wrapped in all spice, add jalapeno , long pepper , soused red pepper, bay leaf , add soup seasoning. Repeat if you have more layers of cheese and on the end add oil until all cheese is covered.You can eat this cheese after 5-8 days You can also use cheese cubes of fetta or tofu.All spices are up to you,use what you like,but basic ingredients as garlic,jalapeno,oil,bay leaf,long,onion, bell peppe

Week 8-9

Czech Rep. vacation Takže jsem od čtvrtka v česke republice doma u rodičů a bratra,let byl krátký a nečekaně klidný přes New York z Norfolk (Virginia) přímo do Prahy. V den mého příletu svítilo sluníčko :-))) Bohužel to byl asi jeden z poslednch letních dní jelikož nyní prší a je zima okolo 9°C..brrrrrr Mám spoustu fotek,ale dám je na moji stránku až příští týden a mám i několik zajímavých receptů tak se těšte.

I love fall, not only for change of the weather, but above all colors, which offers us autumn, falling leaves, the air full of autumn rainfall and sunshine, colder night full of stars, various fairs, the smell of cocoa while watching TV and sitting by the fireplace if you have the opportunit. Days are getting shorter and the evenings are longer ... more occasions to bake  favorite Christmas cookies, and red sky(aurora) in the sky ... fruits and vegetables ripen, more small flames in the meadows, fried sausage and fried apple scent the entire garden....And my ticket to the Czech Republic is purchased, I can't wait to squeeze my whole family in the arms ;-)))  

Salsa (home made)

Here is  the recipe, that I put together from my favorite home made salsa what hubby created. 4-6 tomatoes ( small 6,big 4) 1 big onion diced (2 cloves of garlic grated,is option if you like garlic) 1 mango diced 2-4 Jalapino pepper to your taste, finely choped Lemone juice from 1-2 limes salt handful(1 branch )of choped cilantro black pepper to your taste Olive oil All put together and make it to your taste,salty or spicy ....Eat with  tortila chips ;-)))

Today is Sunday,nice sunny lil bit coold day and my home made salsa(hubby did) is sooo ready to get it out of freezer and bite in it with chips ;-) Also my home made sponge cake is ready for today afternoon. Today is the September 11th,the day we remember  not only one tragic even,but over all USA states they remember 10y old tragic even,lots of people been killed by assassination- terror attacks in New York.Hope everyone have blessed happy day and being happy,but i want also say R.I.P. to all others they been killed by plane crash this week in Russland,more then 40 hokey players they left behind their families,but also i want remember my dear beloved grandma's i lost and my so loved grandpa.I miss you so very much. R.I.P

Morning everyone ;-) Another week with  less of sun and more rain...well sommer is almost over i would say,but still lots of beautiful days front of us.I love this period of time,more colored,more time outside as well. I went to NC last weekend.It was beautiful trip to family at Jecksonville.Beach hot hot hottttt i almost burned up my feets awwww

Hurricane Irena want visit us? wow all are scared about it,All store's  are totally empty.....(crazy people)Irena shut come over Newport News-VA on Saturday,well i hope in very bad stormy weather and very bad rain,i do not expecting bad hurricane.Will go to my friends house to be scare together with Ananas vodka in the hand ;-)))))))

Apple bread pudding *žemlovka*

4-5 eggs, sugar 8-10 white rolls (replacement in America is a white baguette,2 of it)  milk butter for greasing baking form 500g soft curd  (16 oz sour cream or more if u like) 20 g raisins  (variation ,may not be for those who do not like) 50 g nuts cinnamon 5-7 apples So first what we do is cutting to 1cm strong bread wheel, grate the apples, cut the nuts in small pieces,buttered baking form. Sliced ​​bread add into the milk(4cups),because we need the bread Soak the milk(add more milk if it is not enoug and breat is dry),then put slice by slice into baking form so that the bottom is covered,on the top of the bread add apple and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon,apple overthrow with curd(sour cream),add sugar,nuts,cinnamon.To the end cover with the bread your curd(sour cream).You must always finishit with bread on the top of it!!!!Mix eggs and 2 (2 1/2) cup milk and spilt over your bread apple pudding.Make sure milk come down to the bottom(i stick in it knife and let go m

Week 2

Beautiful sunny week, so what do we cook? Today is Wednesday and I expecting a friend for dinner Tatjanu.We will have *ZEMLOVKU*, baked apples, curd - cottage cheese, and old white baguette.Sweet, very tasty and super simple. Yes we do eat in czech for dinner sweet dishes.In the Czech Republic we also eating sweet foods like fruit dumplings, zemlovka ... rice baked with apricots or  bread with butter and cheese is great dinner in czech households and not just a habit of eating meat. So let's beginne!

Sour milk cake

200g all pourpose flour 150g Gold Medal Wonder flour 200g sugar 1 dcl oil 2 tea spoon baking soda 2 table spoon cooking cocoa 0,5 l soure milk I don't buy sour milk, but gain this milk  from left over milk who doesn't drink anymore at home(2 weeks old milk from store) and i do leave him 2 days on the kitchen board,get faster soure ;-) Mix all ingredients together slowly and with love ;-) Put this dough into oiled large baking form.bake by 350F about 30min.Testing this dough with the stick,if  is stick clean without rest of dough then is cake ready to take out of oven. After cooling cut in pieces and sprinkle with powder sugar.

Home made fries

4-6 of larger potatoes salt pepper olive oil baking paper Boil potatoes,after cooling  cut into slices(don't peel) strongly about 1cm,cut slices again about 1cm.Add black peper,salt and drizzle with olive oil on baking paper.Insert into oven for 20-30min by 450.Don'T turn or mix these chips!!! 3-4 persons
